Chasen Galleries is located in Richmond, Virginia.
Chasen Galleries' twenty-five years of experience in the art industry have enabled them to become a member of "the elite" among fine art galleries, showcasing the work of the world's most collectible contemporary artists and scullptors. They represent established highly sought-after artists as well as newly emerging artists.
Gallery owner, Andrew Chasen, selected The BLUE New Media Team to design a site with the following goals:
- SHOWCASE: Provide a compelling venue for showcasing the artwork at
Chasen Galleries
- SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY: Develop a design which is search-engine
friendly, allowing the site to be easily found and indexed by
search engines and internet directories
- LOOK AND FEEL: To create a clean, minimalistic, unobtrustive
design with use of a dark color palette
- FOCUS: Create web pages that will bring visitors' focus to
the artwork rather than the design
- LOOK AND FEEL: Provide an attractive website that a wide variety
of visitors feel comfortable with
- NAVIGATION: Create an intuitive user interface allowing easy
navigation throughout - especially making it easy for visitors
to find artworks
- SCALABILITY: Include a high level of scalability to accommodate
future growth of the website
- COMMUNICATION: to provide various means of communication with
potential clients: e.g., contact form, phone and fax numbers,
email addresses, physical address
