Sarasota University Club is a contemporary city club with a long history in town. Outstanding contemporary cuisine and flawless service make the downtown Sarasota University Club a sophisticated haven for an inviting lunch or an evening of dining and dancing while relaxing with friends.

The experienced staff's philosophy is to know each individual's personal preferences such as a favorite gourmet dish, a very dry martini or a rich espresso.

Members enjoy over 120 diverse reciprocal clubs across the United States, Mexico, Canada and Europe in addition to local year-round golf and dining clubs.

Goals of the site include:

• To inform current members about events, hours, phone numbers, menus, etc.,
• To Inform prospective members about who the Sarasota University Club is and what they do
• To showcase the beauty of the physical facility and to project the appropriate image as “A contemporary club built on a solid legacy.”
• To allow greater participation of current members.

Goals of the Visitors to the Site:

• To get information: EX Banquet info, rooms available, Board of Governors, staff, menus, events, etc.
• To make online reservations for a Banquet/Party/Special Event
• To print out such documents as “The Emblem” newsletter, Upcoming Events, Events Menus, etc.
• To communicate with the club.

The University Club is owned and operated by its members. This site is a “window into the club” and projects the appropriate image of its membership and purpose.

The BLUE New Media Team provided a complete solution encompassing website design, information architecture and content strategy. In addition, content management tools, training and guidelines were delivered, which have enabled Sarasota University Club to easily maintain, administer and grow their website themselves.
