South County YMCA - Venice and Englewood, Florida

For over 30 years, South County YMCA has been committed to assisting individuals and families reach their full potential through educational, health enhancement and social programs based on Judeo-Christian values regardless of age, gender, race, creed or income.

Programs at both their Michael and Georgia Miller Venice branch and our Warren Loranger Englewood branch promote healthy lifestyles, strengthen families, develop self confidence and leadership in youth, build a better community, and foster greater appreciation for human and cultural diversity.

In 2007, they introduced their brand new, 55,000 square foot facility in Venice.  The new building features state of the art equipment, racquetball courts, steam and sauna, large fitness classrooms, and a spacious member lounge. 

The South County YMCA asked The BLUE New Media Team to create a website that would project their image as a welcoming place where members of all ages can come to enjoy, relax, and increase their overall health and wellness.

The BLUE New Media Team provided a complete solution encompassing website design, information architecture and content strategy.

To keep the content up-to-date, content management tools, training and guidelines were delivered which have enabled the YMCA to easily maintain, administer and grow their web site themselves.
